I just tested the library on the FM24C64B - works great! No device ID, but initialized with the correct chip density (64) and all was good.
Did you get an answer to this? It had me stumped for a little while too - but it's referring to samples/CreateDatabase.usql in the data snapshot (i.e. in your storage...
