I might be misunderstanding but I'm not sure deletion would always be the desired behavior - updating a user's filter is potentially going to result in it suddenly over/under matching....

Added to the issue workflow team's backlog as a feature request, this is not something I expect them to be able to revisit soon however.
Can you clarify what you mean by "logs"? This sounds like a potential SDK issue but just confirming before transferring to `getsentry/sentry-java`.
