I was just about to report the same thing. I have a Dell XPS 13 with "Quad HD" display and it exhibits the same problem. Windows 10 as well.
I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't a common issue for any high-resolution display where actual device pixel resolution is greater than the effective (for lack of a better term)...
