But the PNG renderer also has issues, as you see.

Oh, that's good. But as we were discussing the new layout file format, we need an SVG file, aren't we? But the SVG rendering is not usable. :disappointed:

With #206 the only issue remaining is the source tarball generated by GitHub doesn't contain submodules.
