Unfortunately this won't be planned in the future release.

ML Kit doesn't support non-standard (via Unity, etc), so closing for now.
I'm afraid the iOS version won't adopt such change in the future. Closing it with obsolete as it has been over 2 years.
This is a known issue and fixable, but we haven't planned a release for it yet.
Yeah, it is on our radar as a feature request.
