The problem it solved by adding `$Viewport.set_update_mode(SubViewport.UPDATE_WHEN_PARENT_VISIBLE)` on a _ready() code :-) Cheers
Same here, on change seems to work, more changes lead to a 100% CPU and crash
try to remove all "non mesh" object to your blend files (material, nodes, etc.), just keep your objects and meshes, I had a similar issue and it worked...
