This issue seems to affect Playwright 1.26.x+. As a hacky solution, I've found that if you provide an older binary manually, you can still interact with OOPIF in later versions...

I reported this behaviour in playwright awhile ago. Firefox doesn’t seem to gc as Chromium does. https://github.com/microsoft/playwright/issues/28657#issuecomment-1857194645
