as i didn't need that resize icon so i created a custom component as handle it is very basic one and i believe you can adapt it to your needs....

Facing same issue, i guess it doesn't support lazy loaded components

Although this is not a blocker but it is really convenient to open your folders from wsl terminal. facing exactly same issue.
