Have you tried building a custom Docker image to test/use this? It is straightforward to install an additional package. There are several Dockerfile examples at https://github.com/nextcloud/docker/tree/master/.examples .

For what it's worth, I found it much cleaner/easier to build my own Docker image (following the examples included in this repo) and run cron in the main nextcloud container...

Also: wi-fi... does simple dialer show if a call is happening over wi-fi? If not, can it?
