Another +1. Having a second axis of organization is very useful for people (like myself) using kanban in non-task-oriented ways (in my case, planning and plotting fiction).
@EFLS I'm doing something very similar. I'm creating my ids using the 201804021450 timestamp convention, which I have bound to an abbrev. Currently I'm copy-pasting ids into a deft field....
I'm using zetteldeft with markdown files, so org-style tagging is not available to me, and I don't miss it at all. I put most of my tags in a YAML...
It sort of works. It no longer errors on the creation of the list, but only some of the links are created. Here is a sample, with links made visible...
