Sorry, per the [README](https://github.com/mcevoyandy/blender_urdf_visualizer#current-limitations) it was not made to handle primitives. The package is for trouble shooting meshes exported from CAD packages.

The robot in the gifs is ABB Yumi. Any open source robot description package whose URDF does not contain primitives and uses STLs should work.
