Ok, the trick is not to regenerate the build files (e.g., via `straight-rebuild-package`) after removing the `.elc` files.

Calling helpful-function on electric-pair-mode breaks helpful

`helpful-function` works for both `electric-pair-mode` and `electric-pair-local-mode` at least for me on the master branch. Could it be your setup that's broken?

@no-milestone you are right. This used to work but is broken now. Maybe someone else knows if we have a different URL for the auto detect language setting now.
