I believe your issue is not connecting to the default folder @abdullahseba. As @sergey144010 said, try and use the default then switch.
Do note @abdullahseba that an advanced connection is _highly_ recommended.
@JerBlo's solution seems to be the most logical.

You must use the id. UID and IDS are both used differently by php. Fixing this now..
setUnseenMessage ONLY can set the message as seen. It cannot set the unseen flag according to [here ](http://php.net/manual/en/function.imap-clearflag-full.php) and [here](http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2060.html).
