There is no code in the app to sync full library to\from kodi.
Since you had Kodi connected in https://simkl.com/settings/connected-apps/ it means the connection was successful. If it's showing as connected on your Simkl account, try restarting Kodi. Hope that should do the...

Don't think the Kodi API lets you select folders. Currently, Kodi sends only metadata of the show, like the name of the file and TVDB\TMDB\IMDB ID.
We'll look at it but not soon. When a new version will be updated to support kodi 19.
