Well that was by intention. But if you don't like it. You can fix it now.
In the CMakeLists.txt file, change the following line: `add_library(nvmpi SHARED` to `add_library(nvmpi STATIC` and comment out the install lines at the bottom. That did the trick for me.
A possible other solution would be, if `MobileScannerController` would not autostart anymore, we could invoke the start function manually and catch the `PlatformException` when state transitions to `MobileScannerState.denied`.

A reliable core without proper metadata like show notes and chapters (at least linked) is of limited value if you ask me. The people want information, not specification.
