There appears to be no way to merge a node with an area. The need to do this often arises when a building has been drawn and subsequently a node...

It does not seem to be possible to break apart nodes in a way (road) that are merged, whether this is the result of merging two existing ways or splitting...

Reduce compilation warnings

They do not affect the code, but give lots of diagnostic messages when compiled with -W -Wall -Wextra. The changes remove them so that other messages warning of potential problems...

Selecting the preset "Aerialway Station" adds aerialway=station and public_transport=station to the node. However, the second tag is not appropriate for a goods aerialway because there is no public transportation involved....
