What is the output of "lsusb" and "dmesg | tail" in your terminal?

I should have been more specific, run the dmesg command after unplugging or replugging in the mouse.

Is this mouse plugged into a hub, if so, then try plugging it into the computer directly. Past that, it looks like it should work as the kernel sees it...
