You can backport the changes to the current 8.1.0 with the 2 attached patches. Just go to the root of your app and apply them with `patch -p1 < ..patch`...

I can confirm this with a pixel tablet, build number UP1A.231105.003.2023112900 of Graphene OS. Is this somehow intended? Any hint would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes. I've flashed the stock OS on the same device, build is UQ1A.231205.015. Apps are exactly the same.

Tried again today - same results. If you have anything I could check in the logs, let me know.
