For android 4.3 car head unit, same issue: doesn't play videos from youtube.
+1 nothing worked for me

v. 2.981 doesn't play videos at all.
saddened by this news, but still thank you for your effort all this time.
1. We can't upgrade to Android 4.4. If we could, we would've upgraded to 5.1 instead a long time ago. 2. Philippines. Not everybody is tech savvy enough to tinker...
