Not sure of the cause, but this only affects numpy `1.21.2`. `1.21.1` and earlier build, so if possible you can pin to `1.21.1` as a workaround.
Same here, appears to be resolved.
I removed it on my Linux system and had no issue
@ahbk (replying in the main thread rather than a code review comment) your module is quite different from this one: it runs `inadyn` as a daemon rather than a timer...
No, both are valid. `inadyn` can be run as an always-active daemon or on a timer using oneshot mode.
Other than squashing my commits, are there any blockers here?

Rebased on master + moved release notes to 24.05
