the focused element should be `#main-content` when navigating between pages. currently, this only happens if the element is replaced (e.g. a relative link in a blog post). i'm not certain...
Text insertion/selection on large documents happens with a substantial delay. If I had to guess, I would say this is related to `electron-spellchecker` (perhaps, specifically, the `setTimeout()` that's on it?)....
