I would love to see this implemented - my use case is with Musescore 4, which will finally have VST3 support, [but not VST2](https://musescore.org/en/node/333821) due to licensing issues with Steinberg.
What would be the best way to ensure that the load function only runs on the server once, _if_ it can be guaranteed that the data can be safely serialized?...
I'm experiencing this issue too on debian with the latest release. I think it might be an issue with GSuite accounts.

Can also reproduce on Debian 11.
Seems to be a problem when running on Wayland. In the meantime, it can be worked around by setting `GDK_BACKEND` to `X11`. GDK_BACKEND=X11 ./bluebubbles_app
Probably caused by #14379.
This issue is still present in the official release, as I just discovered accidentally (by losing the last 10 minutes work).
