*bump* just encountered the issue, it's blocking us from using Matomo at the moment.
Any update on this ? kanister pod getting OomKilled after spiking at 7.6GB RAM trying to upload a 10+GB zip file.
I can confirm using mc (minio client), RAM usage topped up at 128MiB for a 10GB file upload.

Verbose isn't needed, I didn't take it out of the script yet :).
