It works on 1.20.2. No editing needed. I just went from "not on CF" to "ask author" when updating my modpack. I shoulda known better ^^

I mean you can download this mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/easiervillagertrading/files/4613845 and put it into your mods folder for fabric 1.20.2, and then it will just work.
