The code for this is already in atakofthecerts when it's posts the datapackage to the server via Web request. Could lift that and put it in the cli to upload...
I think the fts installer could be forked and modified to easily fulfill most of this straight away.
Couple more ideas :) - depending how in-depth and verbose you want it, but a total number of connected clients and perhaps you can drill down into it to see...
