I solved it by doing the requests to the stripe servers myself. (With https://crates.io/crates/reqwest)

I tried submitting with an app-specific password using the `EXPO_APPLE_APP_SPECIFIC_PASSWORD` env var and it worked

We are currently still in the process of implementing the old v3 API but we will consider this when we model the new v4 API.
Sounds like a good idea but a bit out of scope for now
@frederikhors I honestly don't remember what I did to fix it. I'm guessing I just ended up not using this approach at all.
