UPDATE: when i run the installer as administrator, the app installed without issue.
I've experienced the same issue. If my machine is in light mode I cannot see the icon.

Currently, there aren't any firefox alternatives for extensity. Firefox does not allow extensions to disable or enable other extensions. The function that does this in their management API is blocked....
unless firefox changes their setup.
