may I ask about the training time and the gpu device you used while training?
I've tried demo ninja,and I got a strange process, Is this correct？ I mean I got a fat ninja? and I used the origin project code without any modification. 
about the randomness. Are there any randomness in kaolin rendering? I follow a paper which use kaolin as render, although I have fixed all the seed, I found it's gradient...
