I think I found a much better solution to the "browser not opening" problem. The fallback option using xdg-open should now trigger when it detects it runs inside a snap...

It is a upstream issue, because [kde-frameworks](https://snapcraft.io/kde-frameworks-5-core18) have decided to only build for amd64. This may change when the stable base moves to core20, but for now it's sadly broken.
Would it be possible to merge this small change, to improve the usability of the snap? Atm it has about 200 users and the launching of the browser still is...
