can confirm, this issue is driving me nuts.
so its possible it doesnt get turned off? strangely i dont have such high drain as you described. drain while 6h sleep is down to 10-20%.

you can try, but as far as i know the firmware of samsung is not offering this standard method.
then you've missused it. they're recognizeable, they just dont offer the 4k option.
this is not the same issue. hibernation is saved in nvram. clear it.
nvram.plist is from emuvariable clover extension to emulate a physical nvram. hibernation is not a good idea on this machine at all. possibility for data corruption etc. normally hibernation is...
intelbacklight is incompatible with 10.12.4. try applebacklightinjector (see https://github.com/wmchris/DellXPS15-9550-OSX)
voodoohda is pretty stable, but not perfect. the appleHDA fix from syscl (also in my repository) works pretty well.
