Just want to confirm: **Is this a bug or a feature?** Since [the doc here](https://github.com/google/closure-compiler/wiki/JS-Modules) said `Modules which do not begin with a "." or "/" character are looked up...
Sounds like `if (typeof this.userDataDir !== 'undefined')` should solve the issue?
