So I don't think it's my fault that travis can't build. It is having trouble installing jruby.

Installed it using `pip` on Arch Linux, and I have the same error (with python 3.5.1)

the only error is from the Apple VM. it should be ignored.

Hi Thomas, I've removed the whitespace changes

`build_msgpacker(packer) #=> packer` sounds good to me. No justification other than that it sounds good. Anyone have a better idea?
