Has anyone had success getting this to work? @EvanBacon is this project retired?
I'm not entirely sure what is happening here. Unfortunately the Edison isn't currently supported since I don't have access to a device.
I haven't encountered this issue. If you see the problem in the code, submit a pull request.
There is a setAddress method, but I'll change it so that it sets the address before each read and write request. I'll get that in the next version.
Will try a few more things and get a new release out soon.
Maybe fixed now? Still haven't had a chance to test.
Thanks for this pr! Moving forward I'm looking to integrate NaN so these issues don't arise again. Unfortunately, using NaN requires almost a full re-write.
Have you tried extending the timeout to a duration a little longer, like 100ms? I'll look into why it doesn't compile on 0.11.4. Thanks!
I'd recommend using Promises if you can't use the callback block.
