Macos Binary stops executing at "OpenSpeedTest-Server : Start Request Received!"

Installed version 2.1.8 on Macos 12.6.7 (21G651) Intel. The app opens and gets as far as displaying the notification "OpenSpeedTest-Server : Start Request Received!". Any ideas what the issue could...
