I just saw you on CSS Summit today. I love the small library philosophy for JavaScript. Anyway I wanted to send you my two cents on fittext just in case...

I think there should be some classical inheritance introduced to the class system so that all characters inherit some basic features; eg. x, y, direction.

If we have a common output format for all solutions then parsing or otherwise using the result of a solution attempt will be easier.
