Clicking "Done" before drawing anything hides the draw controls

Side note, I think it should be possible to say "I know, submit a blank drawing anyways." Based on the prompt I got, I was doing that for a joke.

Changing the brush color does not update the initial preview stroke color

Perhaps the color picker just needs a frame to update the color before the click handler on the canvas starts drawing?

This has been the feature I've always dreamed of having in MDT, but I've never known how to go about making it work. I usually resort to screenshotting the route...
