Just as an update, I'm no longer working on the cognitive-earth project anymore and I am not sure if their team is still using this library.

Use 'failure' instead of 'error-chain'

Is this likely to be merged soon @Emulator000? Use of `failure` is encouraged in the Rust ecosystem and allows easy integration with other crates (eg. `diesel`, `actix-web`)
