There seems to a be decent approach for this on SO [here](http://stackoverflow.com/a/28148606/310275). I'm about to modify it for Slick 3.0 since that's what we use.
FYI: I was able to get an easy version of this working for Slick 3.0 based on [this SO answer](http://stackoverflow.com/a/28148606/310275). The 3.0 version is [here](http://stackoverflow.com/a/31545270/310275).
@hamidr What's your version? 3.1 or something changed more interfaces which required some hacking.
@hamidr Do you still need this? I can ask ex-coworkers for the snippet which fixes it for 3.1.x -- I remember it was an ugly hack I did :(
