@LaurensKubat - can you confirm this is with v0.46 of the cosmos-sdk? I have the same behaviour with v0.15.0 and v1.0.0 on v0.46.1 - but v0.45.6 worked without issue.

For us, any call to ICAController's `RegisterInterchainAccount()` (https://github.com/cosmos/ibc-go/blob/ed56c0b7bf64f44fb9e87ad2756bea1d6ca6ce54/modules/apps/27-interchain-accounts/controller/keeper/account.go#L19) - which fires off `MsgChannelOpenInit` will not be picked up by a running instance of Hermes. This _did_ work under cosmos-sdk v0.45.x...

This issue is negated by #21 - #20 'fixed' the issue, but was closed because of further dependencies under Debian.
