Ok @jonmeredith, your feedback on the unit tests inspired me to make them... not paltry. Sorry for the churn; I'm much happier with where this ended up.
In general there's a lot of whitespace removal in various files; I'm not sure why we have so many files w/trailing whitespace and we don't have anything in our style...
Ran into the same problem here. If you nuke the [toc.html.tmpl](https://github.com/jbltx/DiscordFX/blob/master/discordfx/toc.html.tmpl) and [toc.tmpl.partial](https://github.com/jbltx/DiscordFX/blob/master/discordfx/partials/toc.tmpl.partial) files it'll build but you won't have a toc or searchable filter on the table of contents...
Argh. For the record as a fellow developer I hate being on the other end of this. It's not reproducing for me now either; I did disable literally all plugins...
Hm. I have another repro locally but unfortunately it's on a page with sensitive data. Removed all plugins, bounced, and it's still reproducing. I'm a Java / C# / C++...
