I think that a helper function like C-c C-i to local paths would be helpful as well. It seems that `company-files` doesn't complete paths when it's between parenthesis.
@blainesch it's a fresh install of Ubuntu MATE 16.04 on VirtualBox 5.1.14. Did you test it VBox VMs with 3D acceleration enabled?
I tried now with 3D and 2D acceleration disabled, Zazu UI shows up, but it's very laggy.
It seems that with flags it works, but not smoothly. Thanks!
