I realised that if I use geany's terminal then I could select/copy/paste code chunks from editor there. I also got 2.0 compiled though still need to get debugger/spellcheck going.

Thanks! I just downloaded mango-v0.1.0-linux-x64.tar.gz\?raw\=true which appears to work on our system (CentOS 7). It is still attractive as a lightweight app compared to Visual Studio Code.

This appears to be a problem with SVG itself by Mermaid Live Editor, and a compromise is to set font-size: 90%; Also see here, https://github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid/issues/790
