There still doesn't seem to be a solution to this. i wonder if it makes sense to add a test for is_tax() to the archive template? I'll experiment with it...
is this project even still being developed? all the dependencies are using old versions that aren't supported and have vulnerabilities. i couldn't get anything to compile. not the release version...
