I think I was having this issue when Debian was still using Python 3.9. Can we get a link to the upstream bug so I can follow that, too?

I, too, have this on the lastest version. I get nothing in the terminal output. I'm using Debian Bullseye

I've done a little digging on my side and it seems to be related to either the case-sensitive nature of filenames on Linux, or non-standard characters in the .txt files.

I also have this issue. Not every time, so sometimes Kodi seems to pull chached data, but sometimes it pulls new. Amazon VOD (plugin.video.amazon-test) amazon.(com/co.uk/de/jp) Hardware: HTPC OS version: Linux...

Currently, I'm not sure if it is a skin request, or viwX update, but malformed watched status is crashing kodi. gdb log attached: [gdb.txt](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/16830500/gdb.txt)

I also have this problem on Debian (Trixie). I imagine it might be a scaling problem, as I'm also using 150% scaling for the same reason as menoomeow

Just adding to this, that anyone building from source will fail here, as FFMPEG is on version 7.1 now.
