Windows 8.1. And yes, if I send the task without the function it works fine. It will run either the function or task, just not both.
Tried this again and it looks like the single task isn't working for me now. I don't recall how the config was different that I had seen this work before,...
I have Remote WSL and Remote Containers installed.
