Upon doing a code review, it seemed apparent to me that a lookup table of size USHORT_MAX could significantly improve the performance of read() and write().
It would be nice if IPv6 support was added for parsing the service response and creating/managing AAA records in addition to A records.
Remove un-necessary locking in the logging API.
