Why is validation loss not decreasing after certain steps

I am wondering is there any particular reason for validation loss not to decrease after certain steps, Can you help me answering this question

when trying to fine tune the model produced by training using LJspeech on VCTK's p300 dataset the outputs are worse, may I know what may be the reason
