I should have read a little closer - wrk or ab won't establish a socket connection; as a result, nothing gets subscribed, so no events occur to trigger an update....

It looks like the dependency on the _next_ branch of kemal is the issue. I've changed that in lattice-core's shard.yml...could you try again?
