In case anyone is also wrestling with this, my organization was planning to use the Document names in IAM to define access. We were able to get a functional workaround...

Not sure if it's totally related, I'm running into an issue with the `start-session` command hanging, when the target instance is offline. As @iancward mentioned, `ctrl+c`, etc does not exit....
