I have the same problem. I'd like to display cards as well.
Changing the settings in developer portal or change your location settings in the amazon app does not solve the problem. I wasn't able to implement a change for the settings...
Already solved: I've added the "Login-with-amazon-sdk.jar" to my project hence adding another repo like yours or willblaschko's repo to my project throws an "DexArchiveMergerException: Unable to merge dex" exception. Deleting...
